Organisations & Online Resources on Nutrition
Viva! Health A major non-profit resource on vegan health and nutrition for health professionals and the public.
If you eat a whole, plant-based diet that is diverse, colourful and based on fresh, seasonal ingredients you don’t need to worry so much about individual nutrients, as your body will pick most* of what it needs from the abundant natural sources. If you do want to read up any specific details however, here is a great A to Z of nutrients database.

Provegan Foundation A non-profit resource base on vegan nutrition run by German medical doctor Dr Ernst Walter Henrich.
SHARAN India A group of doctors and nutrition professionals, started by MD Dr Nandita Shah who helps people reverse chronic diseases through diet and has been a great inspiration in my own journey to great health.

Physicians Committee on Responsible Medicine (PCRM) A resource that combines expertise of more than 12,000 physicians with the dedicated actions of more than 175,000 members across the United States and around the world.

Nutrition Facts A science-based, free public online resource run by MD Dr Michael Greger.
Vegan Organic Network (VON) The British Veganic Growing organization that promotes agricultural practices that are both organic and vegan.
